This is a great example of a true art deco watch by Elgin dating from around 1930 and possibly earlier. Elgin 488 movement
This has been serviced and is working as it should.
No jewels and USA made.
I have fitted an excellent custom made Ostritch Leg strap and I believe it looks great and perfectly in tune with this 94 year old watch.
New hands, mainspring, crystal, new stem & crown have been installed during the service.
