Here is a very nive example of a Gotham watch by the Jackson Watch Co.
Dates from 1940. 17 jewels and is Swiss made. AS1124 movement.
This has had a new mainspring, fancy crystal (to really highlight the almost flawless dail) , hairspring and new balance staff installed.
The leather strap was custom made and is Ox Blood with burnishment and triple contrast stitching.
The case is flawless with no plate wear thru and is exceptionally clean, the shine high lights those very cool knotted lugs.
Measures 29mm without the crown and 37.6mm lug to lug.
Overall this is a very pretty timepiece that has aged very well and is working as it should.
