Here we have a super clean 1969 17 jeweled Swiss made alarm watch. It is functioning as it should and keeps time as intended.
It has a nice new crystal installed and the bracelet is awesome. It is a semi-expanding type and is super comfortable to wear.
The dialis a very nice two tone blue and black. It features a red alarm hand. This watch is a little unsual as the crown at the 2 O'Clock position is the wind, and setting crown while the one at the 4 O'clock position is what is used to set the time and wind the alarm spring, leaving the crown out so that when the alarm (mechanical buzzer) goes off, you simply press the crown in to silence it.
The movement has some unusual transitional markings on it:
1223-21 then A five point star with R.L. inside it signifies this is a Ronda, however with further research I discovered S.A. Lausen Ronda (1946)-RAX (1969) (when this watch was made) either merged or seperated? and Factory of Ebauches produced the watch.
Measures 43mm lug to lug and 36mm wide.
